Ayon kay Major General Pio Q Diñoso III, Deptuy Chief of Staff for Logistics na “These equipment will not only help the AFP to support the continuous effort of the administration to facilitate the comprehensive rehabilitation and reconstruction of Marawi as a city but also in performing our role in support to national development of the whole country.”

“The implementation of this project and the upcoming donations from China serves as a testament to the growing bilateral exchanges between the Republic of the Philippines and China and its support to the AFP’s modernization program,” ani Luna.

“The AFP Engineering Equipment Acquisition project with an approved budget for the contact in the total amount of one billion five hundred sixty million pesos (P1,560,000,000) is the first project implemented after the signing of the MOU on defense logistics cooperation between RP and China,” dagdag ni Luna.
